The best thing we can do is to have them watch the short version of the Marathon In The Sky Video.
Several years ago we had a problem in kenosha Wisconsin and with the short version of MITS, the entire group became enlightened about the pigeons and nothing more was ever heard.
The problem that exists is that we have been entirely too relaxed about letting the world know about pigeons and the competitions and such. had we released at the World Trade Center Site, the entire public could have become enlightened as to the pigeons.
We have National Organizations that can or should do their best to get us this FREE ADVERTISING and all we have to do is be good citizens that are willing to MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
Hiding in the sand as we have done for generations or trying to confront people of authority is NOT THE WAY to get them on our side. If we can show that we do good for the public and our pigeons are heroes from the previous wars and even now in the latest ones, then perhaps we will get even better exposure.
Let's try to be valued assets to our community rather than people that are going to show people we have the RIGHT TO FIGHT.
I hope this can be a method to bring our pigeons to the public IN A POSITIVE WAY!!!!
